When are tips released?â–¼
We release tips as early as possible to capture maximum value. Saturday metro tips are typically available Wednesday or Thursday when markets open. Weekday tips are released the night before racing as each track's market opens.
Why do you release tips so early?â–¼
The biggest edge exists when odds are first released. As time passes, sharp money and the public hammer the odds down. By releasing tips early, you can bet at prices where our model shows value - before the market corrects. Waiting until race day often means the edge is gone.
How do you find value?â–¼
Our model generates a price rating for every runner based on form, track conditions, and historical data. When the market opens, we compare our rated price to the available odds. If the market price is higher than our rating suggests, that's edge - and that's when we bet.
What bookmakers work best?â–¼
Any Australian bookmaker works - TAB, Sportsbet, Bet365, Ladbrokes, etc. Our tips are based on the price when we release them, so you want to bet as soon as you receive the tips to capture the same edge we identified.
How is the ROI calculated?â–¼
Our new model was launched in September 2025 and tested on Australian metro and provincial races. The ROI is calculated using the odds at the time tips were generated - i.e. early market prices. This gives you a realistic expectation of returns when betting at the recommended time.
What unit size should I bet?â–¼
We recommend setting your unit size between 1/200th and 1/400th of your betting bankroll. For example, if you've set aside $1,000 for betting, your unit size would be $2.50-$5. This ensures you can handle variance without risking your entire bankroll. The staking plan on each tip tells you how many units to bet.
Can I cancel anytime?â–¼
Yes. All subscriptions can be cancelled through your Account page at any time. Just go to /account and click "Manage Subscription". You'll keep access until the end of your paid period.
How do I get notified when tips are released?â–¼
Once you're subscribed, go to your Account page (/account) and check the "Notification Settings" section to enable push notifications. You'll get alerts when new tips are posted and for late plays close to race time.
Do I need promos to profit?â–¼
No. Our tips have historically been profitable (~35-40% ROI) without any promos. Bookmaker promotions just accelerate bankroll growth for beginners with smaller bankrolls. Once you're promo-banned (which happens eventually if you're profitable), you'll have a proper bankroll and a proven system that doesn't rely on promos.
What's matched betting?â–¼
Matched betting is a technique where you back a horse at a bookmaker and lay (bet against) the same horse on Betfair exchange. This covers all outcomes with minimal loss, letting you unlock promo value safely. When combined with "Money Back 2nd/3rd" offers, you can earn bonus bets for just $3-5 per race in qualifying losses.
